Matthew McConaughey: "Let's start taking care of ourselves and each other"

Remembered for his participation in Serenity (2019) and Gold (2016), Matthew McConaughey shared a message of support in his social networks.

 In an Instagram post titled: "because each red light eventually turns green", the actor gave his opinion and message of encouragement to get through this moment in the best possible way.

 "Hi, everybody! McConaughey here. I just wanna say in these crazy times in we are of coronavirus, let’s take care of ourselves and each other," said the artist born in Texas, United States.

 

 Coronavirus. We must be together as never before

On the pandemic that has the whole world on edge McConaughey said: “We have an enemy in Coronavirus that is faceless, that is raceless, sexless and has no political party. He is an enemy that we all agree we wanna beat and we are gonna beat it,” he said with determination.

 He also stated that this moment of uncertainty will pass quickly. "There is a green light on the other side of this red light (...) and I believe this green light is going to be built on the values ​​that we can enact right now: fairness, kindness, accountability, resilience, respect, courage."

 And he added: "if we practice those things right now we get out of this, this virus, this time might be the one time that brings us all together and unifies us like we have not been in a long,” he said hopefully.
