New Yorker by birth, since she was 25 Julia Garner has been standing out on film and television with very interesting roles.
This model and actress began her career in 2010 with a short film called The Dreamer and, after some appearances in other small works, she showed her art in films such as The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Sin City: A dame to kill for.
After starring in Electrick Children and Grandma, her career began to take off even more after several praised performances in series like The Americans and Ozark.

There she plays a recent university graduate who gets the job of her dreams as an assistant to a powerful figure in the entertainment world. But little by little she discovers the invisible network of abuses that serves as the basis for the entire labor plot in which she is.
Directed and written by Kitty Green, who debuts as director of a fiction story, The Assistant is a story that shows more than one uncomfortable truth in which we see Garner shine as never before on screen.
