Julia Garner plays Jane, a recent university graduate and aspiring film producer who gets the job of her dreams as a junior assistant to a powerful tycoon in the entertainment industry.
As Jane follows her daily routine- which includes from serving coffee to organizing a meeting in a hotel- she becomes increasingly aware of the constant abuse that takes place in all aspects of her working day and of which she is also part of.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the director and screenwriter of the film Kitty Green spent more than 10 months to trace the stories about Weinstein and interviewed many people to create the fictional character of "Jane".
Matthew Macfadyen, Makenzie Leigh, Kristine Froseth, Jon Orsini and Noah Robbins complement the cast of this heartbreaking thriller in which the controversial tycoon never appears even if his presence is important in each scene.
