In Midway, actor and singer Nick Jonas will honor one of the heroes of the war key to the definition of World War II.
The new film by director Roland Emmerich pays tribute to all members of the battle of Midway, including Bruno Gaido, remembered for an epic accomplishment.
In dialogue with the press, Jonas spoke about it: “One of the things I have read that I thought was very Hollywood or perhaps more invented than it really was, is the part I had to do, the revelation of Bruno's courage, which according to what I heard was true, which is incredible.” And he adds without hesitation: "it will be a great moment on screen".
Midway: a key battle
But beyond his role, Jonas was really attracted to the plot of the film and the focus of its director: “I have an affinity for stories with brotherhood and camaraderie. Maybe it's because I'm close to my brothers and I understand the dynamics in that relationship. But also because I think it's a story that deserves to be told and I've learned a lot about it,” he said.
With a cast of outstanding figures including Patrick Wilson, Woody Harrelson, Luke Evans and Mandy Moore, Midway will be a success on the big screen.
