Countdown follows the story of Quinn Harris, a young nurse who, pressed by her friends, downloads an application that predicts exactly when a person will die.
Brand-new director Justin Dic came up with the story while setting the timer on a smartphone and wondered what would happen if the device marked the time until his death. "Probably not a normal thought, but something just clicked me,” the filmmaker joked.
Young Quinn played by Elizabeth Lail is shocked when she discovers that while her colleagues have decades of life ahead, she only has two days left to live.
With the clock running, Quinn will try to change her destiny and along the way she will meet Matt Monroe (played by Jordan Calloway), whose time is also running out.
