Diane Keaton in the first film of director Zara Hayes

The actress was delighted with the great work of this filmmaker dedicated to documentaries

It is remarkable for an actress with so many years in the industry that she continues to be enthusiastic about new projects and that she fully supports the new generations. This is what happens with Diane Keaton who cannot hide her enthusiasm for participating in the first fiction film by British filmmaker Zara Hayes.

When asked about the fear of putting herself in the hands of a first-time director, Keaton says that confidence comes from the fact that "Zara comes from the world of documentaries, something that is noticeable from the beginning, because of her ability to observe people and their behaviors."

The actress was also surprised by the great determination of the director at the set: "she knows very well how to shoot, how to get things done on time. I feel very proud to be part of her debut as a fiction director," she said.

Poms. It's never too late to do what makes us happy.

Poms is a story with some funny moments but with also deep emotional features.

The life of the retirement community "Sun Springs" will not be the same with the arrival of Martha (Keaton) who, along with her new friend Sheryl (Jacki Weaver), will try the impossible: recruit a group of cheerleaders to participate in a professional competition.

A must- see film!
