Sunny Suljic: the actor passionate about the skateboard

After surprising everyone with The Killing of a Sacred Deer, he now leads the first film by Jonah Hill

At 13, young actor and American skater Sunny Suljic has a whole life ahead to follow his dreams. But he will not lose time.

Not leaving aside his love for the stunts on top of his skateboard, this young artist from Georgia is building a defying acting path.

After debuting in a short in 2013 and lending his voice to Atreus in the famous videogame God of war, Suljic got his first leading role in 2017 with the Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos.

In the film The Killing of a Sacred Deer he worked along with no other than Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell in a passionate psychological thriller that was very well received by the critics.

The coming film

The next big event in the life of this young artist is the release of Mid90´s. This is the first film by popular actor Jonah Hill which Suljic described as “the best” when talking about his performance as first time director.

Suljic is the protagonist of the story, a boy with problems at home that finds shelter in his new skater friends of the neighborhood.

Set in an impeccable aesthetic recreating the 90s, Suljicputs together his two passions in the films: the skateboard and acting.
