Hotel Artemis: paradise in the midst of violence

Statements by Charlie Day and Sofia Boutella

Los Angeles 2028. The future is immersed in violence. Murders are carried out with total impunity and criminal gangs are normal. In the midst of this strange social context, Hotel Artemis seems to be a paradise. A place where rules are different and where a clandestine hospital works.

Charlie Day and Sofia Boutella are part of the cast of Hotel Artemis, the film starring Jodie Foster that marks her return to the big screen. Talking to the press, the actors expressed their feelings with the film written and directed by Drew Pearce.

"The hospital is a secret society that criminals keep to be treated if they are injured after doing a job," revealed actor Charlie Day. While the actress Sofia Boutella describes the general context of the film: "it is a utopian future where the world is dominated by criminals, and the rule of law has vanished completely," she said.

But the implied agreement Hotel Artemis keeps, in charge of The Nurse (Foster), will be altered when an extremely chaotic night breaks the internal environment of this clinic for criminals.

Don’t miss this futuristic action film full of violence!
