Were you expecting a new horror story? Finally, the trailer for 13 Exorcismos has arrived. Starring Ruth Diaz, Maria Romanillos, and Urko Olazabal, the film follows Laura Villegas who begins to behave strangely after a seance. Worried by the sinister and questionable behavior of their daughter, her parents ask Father Olmedo, a church-authorized exorcist, for help.
Directed by Jacobo Martínez, the film is inspired by the figure of Father Jesús Hernández Sahagún, who was involved in a controversial exorcism of a seventeen-year-old girl in 2014 in Burgos. Sahagún was charged with coercion and physical violence but was not convicted.
