Great news! Famous actor Tom Hanks and actress Rita Wilson recovered from coronavirus and returned in a private plane from Australia to the United States (some countries still have their borders open).
The news that the protagonist of Larry Crowne (2011)- among other films- has tested positive for Covid-19 shocked the whole world and kept him on edge for the progress of the diagnosis.
Already settled in Los Angeles, the couple's place of residence, they are still practicing social distancing as a preventive measure, since the United States is in a delicate situation during this pandemic.
A message of hope
“Hello friends, we are home now and, like the rest of the United States, we continue to have refuge in place and social distancing,” was the message sent by Tom Hanks in his social networks.
He also thanked the Queensland hospital staff. “Many, many thanks to everyone in Australia who took care of us. Without your care and guidance, we could not have returned to the United States. And thank you very much to all who came with good wishes. Rita and I really appreciate it.”
Tom Hanks was in Australia shooting a film about Elvis by director Baz Luhrmann, where he plays the singer's manager.
