Rhys Ifans has an outstanding career. The 52-year-old actor is Welsh and worked tirelessly on films and television. He is well remembered for his character Spike in the comedy Notting Hill (1999) that starred Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant, and that gave him worldwide recognition.

He was also part of the cast of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (2010) and The Amazing Spider-Man (2012).

But this actor is also interested in music, and starred with the Gallagher brothers (from the rock band Oasis), the video of the song The Importance of Being Idle, from the album Don't Believe the Truth.

Official Secrets. Honesty above all

Very soon we will see Rhys Ifans on the big screen, since he will be part of Official Secrets, embodying journalist Ed Vulliamy form The Observer newspaper. A publication attended by Katharine Gun (Keira Knightley), a British secret services translator who discovers a spying maneuver in her country that could lead to an impending war.

The film by director Gavin Hood is based on an amazing true story that will keep the viewer in suspense and that puts the focus on the dilemma of deciding between obligations and truth. A must- see film!
