The life of the stripper Samantha Barbash always generated great controversy. She became known in the world of strippers for leading a life of luxury to which she had access after drugging, stealing and blackmailing the clients of strip club in New York.
With only 19 years old, Barbash became one of the star dancers of the Hustlers Club. Her pseudonym was Samantha Foxx. But her luck changed when several clients accused her of being responsible for drugging them to steal their money.
Finally, in 2014 she was arrested and sentenced to five years of probation for conspiracy, assault and larceny on a large scale. Currently 44 years old, she is a single mother and lives in the Bronx.
"Everyone who knows me knows the truth," she assured enigmatic to the press when she heard the news that a movie would recreate her life, while at the same time she said she was happy to know that J.Lo would take the story to the big screen.
Jennifer Lopez brought together a great cast to embody this group of dangerous dancers, with stars like Julia Stiles, Lili Reinhart and Constance Wu.
