The period of life that fascinates the cinema

The film Mid90s tackles adolescence from an unprejudiced look and without falling into stereotypes

Jonah Hill, who already showed signs of being a great actor, now dazzles with his debut film Mid90s.

A film in which this newcomer director creates one of the most accurate portraits about the process of growing up in that period of life that fascinates the cinema: adolescence.

The age where anything is possible

Set in the middle of the nineties, the story focuses on Stevie (Sunny Suljic), a 13-year-old boy who lives his puberty struggling to find his feet while suffering problems at home.

But, at the age where everything is possible, Stevie meets a group of skaters that will become the refuge he needs to channel his problems and build his own identity.

With an outstanding cast that includes Lucas Hedges and the performance of real-life skaters, the film shows how Stevie leaves childhood behind to face the confusion of this new stage of life for the first time.

Thus, Jonah Hill approaches from an unprejudiced look the age where everything is possible in an engaging story away from the stereotypes of the problematic adolescent. A must- see film!
