Retirement age is seen as the end of life but Martha (an amazing Diane Keaton) finds a solution that will offer a fun comedy to the audience.
Poms takes place in the retirement community "Sun Springs", whose motto is "enjoy life as never before, for the rest of your life". Keaton’s character arrives there but her personality does not fit with the rest of her companions.
For this reason, an idea that at first sounds crazy later becomes real: to organize a group of cheerleaders- obviously with no age limit- among the members of the retirement community.
Poms. A project that becomes something much bigger
What starts as a hobby quickly becomes a serious project because the group of women decides to participate in a competition. They invite Chloe (Alisha Boe) to their team to help them with the choreography and discover the full potential of a group of women who dare everything.
You can already see the first images of this really motivating story directed by Zara Hayes, where it will be clear that there are no obstacles to get what you set out to.
