Timothée Chalamet, the new prodigy of the seventh art

Mass phenomenon and cult actor at the same time

Teen language points to Timothée Chalamet as the new Hollywood crush. But the immediate adoration this 22-year-old New Yorker, the son of a Frenchman and a Broadway dancer, generates goes far beyond the youthful audience.

The most hardened film critics cannot avoid applauding this child prodigy of the industry that seduced in Interstellar and Homeland, dazzled with Lady Bird and shook the toughest ones in the acclaimed Call me by your name.

With the incredible gift of being a mass phenomenon and cult actor at the same time, Chalamet won awards in every festival. And now he plans to win a new Oscar nomination, this time with the drama Beautiful Boy.

His next film

Directed by the Belgian Felix Van Groeningen, in Beautiful Boy, Chalament embodies Nic, a teenager addicted to methamphetamine, while his father David is played by the great Steve Carell. It is an adaptation of David Sheff's homonymous and biographical novel, which portrays the hard life experience with his son who is addicted to this drug.

An inspiring story of the fall and recovery of a family that has dealt with addiction for many years.
