A new edition of the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is approaching and Diamond Films cannot miss the appointment with a movie that will give plenty to talk about.
The organizers of the event, Piers Handling (CEO and Director of TIFF) and Cameron Bailey (Artistic Director of the festival) announced the world premiere of Beautiful boy, the film by Felix Van Groeningen that features in its cast Steve Carell, Timothée Chalamet, Maura Tierney and Amy Ryan.
Beautiful boy is based on the memoirs of David and Nick Sheff and shows the hard way a family went through due to the additions of his teenage son. A heartbreaking and inspiring experience of survival, relapse and recovery.
An appointment that marks the beginning of a global recognition
The Toronto International Film Festival -this year will be its 43rd edition- gathers the best filmmakers and productions of the year. And it's the beginning of the awards season that ends with the Oscars Awards in 2019.
