Joaquin Phoenix and Jonah Hill: together in theaters

The protagonists of Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far On Foot

Working with someone you admire a lot always involves a bit of risk and nervousness. It can happen that the fact of being next to a movie star restrains you and prevents you from doing your job well. It was not the case of Jonah Hill, that at the time he knew Joaquin Phoenix he could achieve the chemistry director Gus Van Sant looked for in screen.

"I loved meeting Joaquin and getting to work with him," says Jonah Hill. And he adds: "I think it's pretty unanimous that Joaquin is one of the best actors out there, so it's almost like saying the obvious. But what I find surprising when I'm lucky enough to work with actors of this importance is that they are very generous,” the actor said.

In Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far On Foot, Hill plays the head of the self-help group Alcoholics Anonymous: "I think I've never been happier in my life than when I played Donnie," he says. "Besides, everyone around me and everyone who worked with me told me: God, we love it when you play Donnie!” he recalled.
