Actors Josephine Langford, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, and Mira Sorvino (After we Fell) return to the big screen for another installment of the saga. This time, Tessa is no longer the sweet girl she was when she met Hardin, she understands all the troubling emotions that lurk beneath him and she knows she's the only one who can calm him down when he explodes. He needs her but...does she need him? As more things of Hardin's tragic past come to light, he grows darker and pushes Tessa - and everyone else in his life - away. She's not sure she can save him without sacrificing herself.
The costumes and set design play a larger role in this film and you will notice small differences in how they dress or how they decorate their apartments to reflect their personal growth. Different locations were also recreated to tell this story: Seattle, New York, and London. The set designs of the cities were so well done that actor Fiennes Tiffin pranked his friends in the UK and convinced them he was in London when he was actually in Bulgaria.
