The actor of Logan Lucky and Side Effects returns to the big screen to tell the exciting story of Briggs, a former army ranger that dares to travel with his dog Lulu throughout the United States and across the Pacific coast in hopes of making it to their best friend's funeral on time. They will drive each other crazy and break some rules, but they will also learn how to love, and they’ll have the chance to create a new life.
Inspired by a true story, the film is based on the events Channing Tatum lived in 2018 when he learned that his dog, a Pitbull-Catahoula mix, had cancer. After receiving this sad news, he decided they should go on a road trip to enjoy their last moments together.
Dog, co-directed by Reid Carolin and written by Brett Rodríguez – responsible for the Magic Mike franchise-, tells a story that combines the true events and experiences of the actor with his dog. Are you ready to watch it? Be ready to laugh, cry, and leave the cinema with a smile.
