International Kissing Day

The best kissing scenes in the seventh art

Today, April 13, is International Kissing Day, a date that deserves to be celebrated with an expression of affection towards another person. Another option to enjoy this special day is to go through several romantic movies where the protagonists inevitably experience that great moment: the kiss.

After: Tessa Young is in her first year at university. Used to a stable and orderly life, her world changes when she meets Hardin Scott, a mysterious young man with a dark past. From the very first moment, they hate each other because they belong to two different worlds and are complete opposites. However, these two polar opposites will soon come together, and nothing will ever be the same again. Innocence, life and sexual awakening, and the traces of a very powerful love.

Before Midnight: Starring Ethan Hawke (Juliet, NakedValerian and the City of a Thousand Planets) and Julie Delpy, the film follows Celine and Jesse nine years after meeting in Paris. Almost two decades have passed since their night in Vienna, and now we see them in their forties in Greece. Before the clock strikes midnight, we are once again immersed in their story and a particular moment in their lives and as a couple.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire: Directed by Francis Lawrence, the film tells the story of Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), who has returned home after winning the 74th edition of the Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. However, the calm is short-lived because President Snow declares that all winners, by drawing lots, will have to play again in the next edition. Through this new competition, Katniss and Peeta become closer and true love is born between them.
