Director and screenwriter Guy Ritchie will amaze us in the coming months with his new project Fame and Fortune. Shooting began in January last year in Antalya, Turkey, a place that left him astonished. "Turkey is something of a revelation: beautiful food, country, hotels and people. After two months of filming, I’d like to shoot all my films here," he expressed on his social networks.
Who will be part of this feature film? It will star none other than the renowned Jason Statham (Fast and Furious 7, Parker), and the cast also includes Josh Harnett (Penny Dreadful), Hugh Grant (The Gentlemen), Aubrey Plaza (Happiest Season, Dirty Grandpa), Cary Elwes (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Billionaires Boys Club), among others.
The film tells the story of an MI6 agent (Statham) who is recruited by a global intelligence agency. His mission, along with a CIA agent (Plaza), will be to stop the sale of technological weapons that threaten to destroy the world order. Will they find the seller before it is too late?
There is still no theatrical release date in Latin America but we will surely have more news in the coming weeks.
