William Brent Bell with his favorite toy

The director of Brahms: The Boy II gives some details about the devilish doll

Known as a master of horror, William Brent Bell has fans and not-so-fans of the genre once again with high expectations for his upcoming release Brahms: The Boy II.

It's the sequel to the successful movie that captivated the critics and the audience in 2016, and that now brings back the evil porcelain doll that terrifies even the most skeptical.

"My initial intention about the doll was not to do something terrifying... Well, let me take that back. Spooky yes (he laughs) ... But nothing monstrous. For the design I based on some vintage or Victorian-era dolls. But a lot of it was based more on my inspirations from the horror films of the 70s," he said in an interview.

He added: "To me, he's a perfect child, but he hides a knife behind his back. You can't trust him... The eyes are real [artificial] eyes that a person would use if they lost an eye. I wanted it to be very real. Even the hair."

You've been warned! With a superb cast that includes Kate Holmes, you can't miss the return to the big screen of this evil creature's chilling deeds.
