David Lowery, the magic behind the camera

With a long trajectory, the American director has a new film, The Green Knight

American director and screenwriter David Lowery caught everyone's attention when he released Ain't Them Bodies Saints in 2013, a film with a visually poetic register that honors the directors of the New Hollywood of the 1970s.

With this film nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, Lowery promised great things as a director, something he achieved some time later with gems like Pete's Dragon (2016) and A Ghost Story (2017).

What's New: The Green Knight

However, the creativity of this Texas director who, at 19, wrote and directed his first film, Lullaby, knows no rest.

That's why he has made a feature film that will immerse us in adventure and fantasy once the pandemic lockdown is over.

The feature film The Green Knight, which he wrote, directed, edited and produced, represents a bold and fresh turn in the legendary story of the British Isles.

The film follows Sir Gawain (starring Dev Patel), King Arthur's brave and stubborn nephew, as he embarks on an adventure to confront the dreaded giant Green Knight.

With a cinematic vision that is both epic and intimate, Lowery offers us the opportunity to travel to unknown worlds of ghosts, giants, thieves and conspirers.

 Not to be missed!
