Undoubtedly one of the great releases of the year was Hustlers, the film starring Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu, who followed the plan carried out by a group of strip dancers who, after the financial crisis of 2008, decided to swindle their clients.

The film, masterfully directed by Lorene Scafaria, could not leave the public indifferent. That is why on January 2, J. Lo will receive the Spotlight Award during the 31st Palm Springs International Film Festival for her great performance.
But other nominations have already been confirmed in the Independent Spirit Awards, where the film participates in the following categories: best supporting actress (Jennifer Lopez), best director (Lorene Scafaria) and best cinematography (Todd Banhazl).
But there is more! Because Hustlers also participates in the category for best feature at the Gotham Awards, the awards that highlight the work of independent filmmakers.
