What happens if your cell phone wants to control your life?

Jexi is the new comedy by directors Jon Lucas and Scott Moore

Beware addicted to cellphones, here comes the comedy that will surely make you feel identified with the story of a young man who spends too much time interacting with his phone.

Directors Jon Lucas and Scott Moore seek to question in a funny way the actual fascination with cellphones. Of course, they said, they were adamant against the idea that the film did not have a preacher message like "hello everyone, get rid of your phones!".

Instead, the film seeks to point out the need to “find balance”, as well as to occasionally turn away the view from the telephone and “be present in the life of each one, always taking into account what is important,” said the Bad Moms writers in the presentation of the film.

A man addicted to the phone

Starring Adam Devine, Jexi focuses on the relationship of a lonely man with a new application that, with a woman's voice, helps him in the affairs of life.

But everything gets complicated when Jexi, his new virtual friend, takes more powers than agreed and interferes in a delirious way in Phil's life.
