Known for his performance in series such as Mr Robot, Law and Order or The Blacklist, actor and director Darren Lipari surprises everyone embodying a committed character in the movie 21 Bridges.
The film directed by Brian Kirk and produced by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo focuses on a New York police detective (Chadwick Boseman) who is forced to shut the island down to find two criminals in an intriguing plot where Lipari plays Lieutenant Kelly.
The most challenging role for Darren Lipari
“Lieutenant Kelly is a man of action, loyal, skilled and proactive. When doing my research on the chain of command within the New York police, a lieutenant is a valuable position. I wanted to honor that,” Lipari said about his character.
In addition, he also said that: “When a group of police officers is killed in an operation that went wrong, my character does anything he can under the orders of Captain Mckenna (JK Simmons) to ensure justice is done and that the city he protects is safe".
Together with a stellar cast in which Sienna Miller and Taylor Kitsch also stand out, Lipari presents one of the best performance of his career in a movie full of action and adrenaline.
