A horror-loving filmmaker

After surprising with The Autopsy of Jane Doe, André Øvredal now releases the most important film of his career

Are you ready to be traumatized by a Norwegian? Because nobody doubts André Øvredal will terrify the audience with the release of his next film Scary stories to tell in the dark.

With a large filmography, André Øvredal became known in 2010 for having written and directed the hit movie Troll hunter about the dangers of a forest full of giant and threatening creatures.

However, it was with the supernatural thriller The Autopsy of Jane Doe that he rose in stardom and recognition. In his first film in English, a young woman appears dead with evidence of torture techniques used in the witch-hunting era.

What is coming

But for Øvredal no dose of terror is enough. Always betting on more, he has now associated with another fan of monsters, Guillermo del Toro, who will be the producer of Scary stories to tell in the dark, whose name says it all. They are the stories based on the homonymous series of books that promise to continue conquering the new generations.
