Statements by the director of Mazinger Z: Infinity

Mazinger Z is coming to all Latin American theaters! The return of a children's classic that marked thousands of children comes to theaters to celebrate the 50 years in the animation world of its creator, Go Nagai.

Junji Shimizu is the director of this new installment. In dialogue with the press, he remembers his childhood and what the launching of Mazinger Z generated: "It's something of my generation, it had me stuck to the television," he recalls.

On the legacy of Go Nagai, he says: "I want to be as faithful to his work as possible. The characteristic moves will be the same. But the shape of the robot is more detailed, to make it more real. " In this sense, he highlights the best aspect of the new film: "I think we could combine the old and the new in a very good way," he said.
