Jessica Lange was born on April 20, 1949, in the United States. She is the daughter of a teacher and a housewife, and she studied Fine Arts at the University of Minnesota. Later, in 1973, she moved to New York where she decided to specialize in acting.

How did she start in Hollywood? She had her first starring role in 1976 in the movie King Kong. Although the reviews weren’t good, Jessica continued to be part of several successful projects that gave her international recognition, including The Postman Always Rings Twice, Frances, and Tootsie. The latter awarded her an Academy Award statuette for Best Supporting Actress.

She continued her acting career with leading roles in different films during the eighties and nineties. Since the early 2000s, Jessica Lange began to play supporting roles in films or television shows. However, all this changed when she returned to the spotlight due to her starring role in American Horror Story. Both critics and audiences praised the characters she performed for this anthology, which also earned her several awards.

Starring Liam Neeson (Memory; Mark Felt: The Man Who Brought Down the White House) and Diane Kruger (355), the film will be released at the end of April.
