Winona Ryder: a multifaceted actress

A journey through the great films of her career

Winona Ryder is an American actress born in Minnesota on October 29, 1971. Before earning several nominations and winning a Golden Globe for her performance, she took theater classes at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco when she was 12 years old.

How did she start? She caught the attention of screenwriters and producers from a very young age. She made two films that were never shown on the big screen, but one of them – Lucas- did make it into Tim Burton's hands. This great director called her for Beetlejuice, where she plays a gothic teenager who suffers from depression, and the rest is history. Her acting career became international from that moment on, and she participated in one film after another.

During the 1990s, Winona was one of the most popular and sought actresses in Hollywood and it was during that period that she was part of major productions such as Edward Scissorhands, Bram Stoker's DraculaLittle Women, and The Age of Innocence.

If you like her, we recommend that you see more of her talent in the film Destination Wedding alongside Keanu Reeves. A film about two miserableand unpleasant characters who are invited to a wedding and develop a mutual affection for each other despite the situation and their incompatible personalities.
