Fan Bing-bing was born on September 16, 1981 and her first participation was in a TV series called Powerful Woman. Her career continued with several supporting roles until the late nineties when she reached stardom as Jin Suo in the TV series My Fair Princess. In 2003, she starred in Cell Phone, the highest-grossing film of the year in China, and since then, the actress starred in countless films such as Lost in Beijing, Buddha Mountainand I Am Not Madame Bovary. She was also part of the cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past, won multiple awards, and is considered a fashion icon.
Soon we will have the opportunity to witness her talent in the film The 355 where she is joined by a great cast: Diane Kruger, Jessica Chastain (Molly’s Game), Penelope Cruz and Lupita Nyong'o. Sebastian Stan (Destroyer) and Edgar Ramirez (Hands of Stone, Gold) complete the film's cast.
The film tells the story of a group of women who make up one of the most prestigious spy units in the world. The agents, each from a different part of the world, must join forces to confront an unseen enemy and prevent a weapon of mass destruction from ending up in the wrong hands. Lin Mi Sheng, played by Fan Bing-bing, will be a key character in this story.
