Dave Bautista: from wrestler to actor

The protagonist of My spy consolidates his transition

In My Spy, a secret agent is involved in the difficult task of teaching a 9-year-old girl the secrets to becoming a spy.

Dave Bautista plays JJ, a cold CIA agent. In the film directed by Peter Segal, the protagonist moves from a very masculine environment (secret missions) to another area where subtlety prevails (the school and the city).

When asked by the specialized critics, the parallel with his career was clear, since Bautista left WWE- the company of professional wrestling- to become an actor.

“It was a transition in terms of the environment. It was not a transition as to who I was as a person. But yes, WWE is definitely a very competitive environment, sometimes hostile. It's really hard,” said the former wrestler.

And he adds, “I think I made that transition long before this movie. I think that my transition as a filmmaker, as a producer, is definitely more prominent in this film, but not as an artist,” said Bautista.

My Spy. A young girl puts the mission at risk

Sophie’s curiosity (Chloe Coleman) nearly risks a mission of vital importance to Agent JJ who doesn’t need a new problem with his boss.

In order not to tell the truth, the girl and the spy make a deal: he will teach her everything he knows to prevent schoolmates from bothering her.

A great comedy to enjoy with the family!
