When the young nurse Quinn Harris (Elizabeth Lail) downloads the Countdown application, she discovers that she has two days to live, but also a mysterious demon stars stalking her right away.
Countdown marks the debut of Justin Dec, a rising filmmaker, in a feature film. The horror story, with some funny moments to decompress the tension of the spectators, has a monster as one of the main protagonists.

“You can know your fate and you can die of natural death, but if you take that information and try to change your fate, you will have broken the rules, and you are theirs,” says Dec about the demon that stalks the young nurse.
In addition, the director provides more details of the character, stating: "He is a hunter who enjoys the chase and wants every second to be a nightmare until the end."
To make matters worse- also for the audience- the filmmaker decided to reveal the demon in a slow way to create an unbearable sense of suspense. Undoubtedly, lovers of the genre will enjoy Countdown.
