The life of George Westinghouse was a turning point in the history of humankind because this entrepreneur, engineer and inventor was one of the responsible for the way the whole world is illuminated nowadays.
And this is no metaphor since The Current War tried to determine the illumination method that would prevail in the United Stated and, therefore, in the rest of the countries.
There were two energy distribution methods competing at the end of 1890: alternating current and direct current. Westinghouse was in favor of the former whereas inventor Thomas Edison supported the latter.
