There is no doubt that visual aesthetics and pop music in the voice of the incredible Elle Fanning are the foundations of Teen Spirit, actor Max Minghella’s directorial debut.
And that can be seen in the trailer of the film where we see the protagonist for the first time: Violet. A teenager who likes to sing and who finds a way of becoming a pop star in the Teen Spirit contest.
Set in a small island in the south of the United Kingdom, the heroine of this story meets Vlad, a retired opera singer played by Zlatko Buric, who will make the young woman realize her full potential.
But the road will not be easy. Although for the audience that journey will be very pleasant because the film has music by artists such as Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, No Doubt and Annie Lennox, in addition to the interpretations by Fanning herself of songs by Robyn, Ellie Goulding and Annie Lennox.
