Isabelle Huppert: a movie legend releases a new film

The French actress dazzles with another memorable character in the film Greta

The diva of European cinema surprises again. After having participated in more than 100 films throughout four decades of career, French Isabelle Huppert continues setting trends in the world cinema.

Therefore, the eyes are now focused on her upcoming release, Greta. A psychological thriller by Oscar winner Neil Jordan, in which the French star will certainly become another of his memorable characters.

This time she embodies an enigmatic widow who tries to fight her loneliness by pursuing with sinister purposes a sweet and naive young woman played by Chloë Grace Moretz.

 Can Huppert scare us?

At first glance, the delicate figure of this mature actress expresses anything but fear.

However, in more than her multi-award-winning career, Huppert has dedicated herself to portray with magnetism the several pathologies and perversities human beings hide.

Proof of this talent are her performances as the overwhelming Madame Bovary (1991), the disturbed music teacher (La pianiste, 2001) or the hysterical Augustine (8 femmes, 2002).

And now, with Greta, this legend of world cinema can mark a new milestone.
