The old matriarch inherited her daughter, her son-in-law and her two secret grandchildren of their ancestors who will little by little draw a hell from which they will try to escape.

This is the first feature-length film by writer and director Ari Aster, who with his peculiar vision and narrative skills turns an initial domestic drama into a work of horror that recalls the classics of the sixties and seventies.
