The Strangers: Prey at night, the new film by Johannes Roberts

Psychological, inevitable and irrational fear

The name already provokes fear. But we anticipate that any speculation of the dread it can generate falls short.

The mind behind the film

"The film is inspired by Bryan Bertino's The Strangers, ten years ago," says director Johannes Roberts.

This filmmaker explains the plot of his new film: "the film focuses on a family that is about to fall apart and that takes his daughter to a boarding school." And he continues: "In their journey, they stop at the trailer park for the night. There, three masked strangers appear trying to hunt them down and damage them lethally one by one, and now the family must trust each other to survive. It's pretty dark and horrible."

What is Robert's style? "With this movie, I did not want to shock the audience to scare them," he explains. "On the contrary, this is a film about terror and its atmosphere."

Much inevitable and irrational fear. We can’t wait to watch it!
