Radiohead in Spencer

Kristen Stewart's new movie

A few weeks ago we could see the first image of this promising movie. With its excellent Chilean director Pablo Larraín (Jackie) and lead actress Kristen Stewart, who will be playing none other than Princess Diana of Wales, we could not expect less in relation to the soundtrack of this feature film.

The original music will be composed by guitarist and founder of RadioHead, Jonny Greenwood, who has a vast experience in composing for the film world as he has worked on several occasions for director Paul Thomas Anderson in titles such as Inherent Vice, The Master, There will be blood and Phantom Thread. With the latter he scored his first nomination for both the Golden Globes and the Oscars in the category of Best Soundtrack. That is why there are high expectations about his participation and all the fans around the world will be looking forward to his creation.

The film is Larraín's second biopic about such a popular public figure and it narrates a turning point in Lady Di's life: when she realizes that, after rumors of affairs and a marriage that lost its magic, she wants to divorce Prince Charles. "Spencer is a dive inside an imagining of who Diana was during one of the pivotal turning points in her life," said the director in an interview.

The project has already begun shooting in Germany and the UK and hopes to hit the big screen later this year.
