Roger Kumble leads the second part of After

The acclaimed director faces the challenge of continuing the most famous teenage romance

The story of Tessa and Hardin will continue on the big screen with After We Collided by the hand of a new director.

Thus, while the film has again Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin as the protagonist couple, the direction goes from Jenny Gage to director, screenwriter and playwright Roger Kumble.

This American filmmaker debuted as director in famous Cruel Intentions in 1999, whose story has been compared several times with that of Anna Todd's After. Selma Blair, who plays Tessa's mother, also starred in that remembered film as Cecile Caldwell.

A sequel that promises to be exciting

In this second part of After, Kumble is challenged to live up to the expectations of millions of fans around the world who were already delighted with the first installment.

But, the director of The Sweetest Thing isn’t afraid and he gladly accepted the challenge. “This book has romance, broken hearts and sex, much more sex. It's going to be damn cool. I will see you in theaters,” he said on social media.
