An inspiring comedy between Diane Keaton and Jacki Weaver

They star a funny friendship between two retirees in a retirement community

Diane Keaton and Jacki Weaver play one of the best performances of their careers in Poms. They both give a unique rhythm to the hilarious first feature film by documentary director Zara Hayes.

Fulfilling old wishes

Set in a retirement home, Weaver plays adorable Sheryl, a woman who soon convinces her new friend Martha (Keaton) to make an old forgotten dream come true: to be a cheerleader.

Of course, that was not Martha´s plan, who moved to the luxurious retirement community to live her last years smoothly. However, they are an unstoppable duo that recruits other women from the community and set up an amazing group of cheerleaders.

With a cast starring Pam Grier, Rhea Perlman and Celia Weston, the unlikely group of women cheerleaders goes further and enrolls in a competition.

The essential help of a luxury coach (Alisha Boe) shapes a choreography that will be presented before a complete stadium. A must- see film!
