At 73, the always flawless Diane Keaton leads a surprising cast in the upcoming comedy Poms.
Keaton will be accompanied by the equally talented Jacki Weaver, Pam Grier and Rhea Perlman in a crazy story that shows how age is not an obstacle if you want to enjoy life.
It's never too late for acrobatics
Living the last years of her life with no passion, Martha (Keaton) moves to a residential home where, forced to socialize, begins to realize that things are not finished for her yet.
Directed by Zara Hayes, known for her documentary The Battle of the Sexes, the characters of Keaton and Weaver will set in motion the creation of a group of cheerleaders among the veterans of the place, an activity that begins as a simple hobby but ends in a contest.
And as if invited to an acting masterclass, the cast is completed by the young Alisha Boe, who plays a teenage cheerleader who will be a coach for the group of ladies who want to live life to its fullest.
