"I had not filmed a fight since ´The Kingdom´. My first daughter was learning to crawl in that movie. She is 12 now. That's a long time!" Says the actress who embodies Riley, a woman willing to do anything to get justice for the brutal murder of her husband and her young daughter.
Creating a killer
As Garner herself explains: "Riley's husband, Christopher, is a mechanic and works very hard, but he wants to give his family what they do not have: economic stability," and adds: "He is tempted to accept a job with unpleasant partners and breaking the law. He eventually decides not to do it, but it was too late. He ends up dead like his daughter Carly, the night of her birthday."
In the film directed by Pierre Morel, the audience can see the remarkable transformation of a simple mother with thirst for revenge in a skillful fighter with incredible physical skills for combat. A film that definitely keeps the viewer on alert from start to finish and awakens all the senses.
