The year's top performances were recognized at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, February 26th. During this event, many iconic moments were experienced. Sally Field was recognized for her superb career in Hollywood, Jenny Ortega and Aubrey Plaza's (Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre) performance made the audience laugh, and Jessica Chastain's (Molly’s Game; 355) stumble down the stairs has become a classic in the awards season. However, the paramount moment of the night was for the actors of Everything Everywhere All at Once who took home several awards, including Best Cast.
Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert's film received several statuettes during the night. Jamie Lee Curtis won Best Supporting Actress, Ke Huy Quan won Best Supporting Actor, and Michelle Yeoh won Best Actress. The last two performers are the first Asian actors to win this recognition.
