Orphan: First Kill is a blockbuster hit

The film about the most terrifying villain continues on the big screen

Directed by William Brent Bell (The BoyBrahms: The Boy II) and starring Isabelle Fuhrman and Julia Stiles (Hustlers), the prequel about the beginnings of the evil "little girl" Esther is a box office success in Latin America.

The film chronicles the dark past of this adult killer who looks like a child due to a medical condition called hypopituitarism. Esther escapes from a psychiatric clinic in Estonia and arrives in the United States to torment a family in Connecticut.

Twenty-five-year-old Isabelle Fuhrman reprises her role as the murderous girl who looks nine years old and does so thanks to prosthetics, makeup, camera, and lighting that create the illusion of youth.

Orphan: First Kill is number 1 at the box office in Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Colombia, and Bolivia. Also, 1.5 million people in Brazil enjoyed it. The film surprised audiences and continues filling Latin American theaters two weeks after its release.
