Who is Charlie Plummer?

The actor will soon be on the big screen with Moonfall

Charlie Plummer was born on May 24, 1999, in New York. Encouraged by his parents, he began his career at a very young age with several short films and collaborating in local plays. Later on, he participated in series such as Boardwalk Empire and Granite Flats until his leading role in the film King Jack.

The American actor continues to surprise with each new project that comes his way. In 2017, he received international recognition for Ridley Scott's film All the Money in the World, a film that tells the story of the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III and his mother Gail's desperate attempt to convince his billionaire grandfather Jean Paul Getty to pay for the ransom. He once again seduced audiences with his performance in Lean on Pete, a film that follows Charley Thompson, a teenager who gets a summer job as a horse caretaker and trainer, and strikes up a wonderful friendship with a racehorse named "Lean on Pete."

In February, we will see him again in Latin American theaters with the release of Moonfall, a film about a Moon-related catastrophe as it is knocked out of its orbit and heads towards Earth. Astronauts Jo Fowler (Halle Berry) and Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson) will try to uncover the secrets of the satellite to save humanity.
