Throughout his career, the fifty-six-year-old New Zealand actor was always committed to every character he played. In movies like Gladiator we saw him with a spectacular body that awakened interest around the world. But in this case, his drastic physical change for the role in the film Unhinged caught the attention of his fans as they will see a more disheveled Russell, who has left behind the marked abs and now shows a more rounded belly.
This has a reason: his character is going through an existential crisis since he is recently divorced -on bad terms-, he cannot find meaning in life and, on top of that, he has a traffic altercation with a woman (Caren Pistorious). He will try to take his anger out on her, and he will therefore begin an extreme chase that will take your breath away.
The film directed by Derrick Borte was a bet for the reactivation of the markets with the reopening of movie theaters, which are closed since March due to the pandemic. And the strategy was a success as it has been released in several countries around the world - such as the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, France, among others – with very good box office results. We hope this will also be the case when the time comes for Latin America.
