The principal architects of the Marvel Cinematic Universe worked closely with both the director, Irish Brian Kirk, and with the protagonist of the film, well-known actor Chadwick Boseman.
"Brian Kirk was someone who headed our list of artists we wanted to work with," Joe Russo revealed to the press and added: "He understands the themes and comings and goings of the film, as well as the social power of some of the issues it explores."
