A comedy on how to be always young

The hilarious film by Diane Keaton playing a cheerleader

In an awaited film by director and writer Zara Hayes, Poms makes her main protagonist, the film legend Diane Keaton, shine.

The renowned actress plays Martha, a retired woman with a sad vision of the end of life who moves to the luxurious retirement community Sun Spring with the sole purpose of spending the last years of her life smoothly.

But everything changes when she meets Sheryl (Jacki Weaver), her new partner in the residence. Little by little, this super charismatic woman will convince Martha that it is never too late to go after one’s dreams.

The power of friendships

An unequalled duo who will soon demonstrate the power of friendship by embarking on the ambitious project of setting up a group of cheerleaders and performing before an audience in a competition, Martha's long-awaited youthfulness.

For this, they will recruit a unique cast of cheerleaders among the women of their residence. The competition has only one requirement: competitors must be of legal age. And as Sheryl points out, everyone is over 18: "18 + 50!"

Keaton and her group will grab the pom-poms to show that you can always stay young, and that it's never too late for second chances.
