Becoming a teenager will be a real torment for Stevie (Sunny Suljic). A bully big brother (Lucas Hedges) that is often stalking him and a mother (Katherine Waterson) with her own problems that does not pay enough attention to him.
So, this boy is going to live his life with a group of skaters that will make him feel part of a group where he will find what he needs to live in the 90s.
The first film by actor Jonah Hill portrays wisely the times and an endearing movie; therefore, choosing Katherine Waterson was the right decision.
